The Mo'ili'ili Community Garden is part of 11 gardens under the
Honolulu Recreational Community Gardening Program (HRCGP) with the City and County of Honolulu. We have 57 plots in our garden.
It was founded in 1975 under Mayor Frank Fasi.
Location: 814 Coolidge Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96826
Parking: Parking is limited to street parking on Isenberg and Coolidge Streets
Hours: Sun up till dusk

Plot waiting lists are managed exclusively by the HRCGP.
An application form must be completed to join the waitlist.
Applicants are welcome to our monthly meetings and clean-ups, but attendance while on the waitlist will not affect your application standing.

Waitlist applicants will be contacted by the Community Garden Coordinator, Kate, to be offered a garden when available.
Applicants will be notified by the Community Garden Coordinator, Kate, via email or phone number of the availability of a plot

JULY 27, 2026 WAITLIST NOTICE:
HRCGP is closing new waitlist sign-ups at gardens where the estimated wait is five years or longer.
This affects Ala Wai, Diamond Head, Foster, Kāneʻohe, Makiki, Mānoa, Mōʻiliʻili, and Mutual Lane.
Keep checking their website to see if the above ones open up again; however, as of July 27, 2026,
The Mōʻiliʻili Community Garden has at least 117 people on the waitlist.
